The first part of our Philly sports doubleheader was the Phantoms' final regular season game. Playing the Norfolk Admirals, the Phantoms were already locked into second place in their division, and thus had nothing really to play for. So they rested a bunch of their top players, including Jon Sim, John Slaney, and Dennis Seidenberg. This, coupled with a few rediculously stupid second period penalties, resulted in a Phantoms 4-2 loss. Several fights and goals by R.J. Umberger and Josh Gratton still gave us something to cheer though. |
