US Open 2005 - Day 4 |
September 1st was the fourth day of the 2005 US Open, featuring men's and women's second second round singles matches. I also saw parts of a couple first round mixed doubles matches. I made the walk back and forth between Arthur Ashe Stadium and Louis Armstrong Stadium a few times to try and see as many players as I could, and as a result I think I saw more this year than any before. I was lucky enough to see several of the world's top players, including Andre
Agassi, Lindsay Davenport, and Justine Henin-Hardenne, as well as other prominent players like Martina Navratilova, Gustavo Kuerten, Robby Ginepri, Guillermo Coria, Tommy Haas, Jonas Bjorkman, and of course, my favorite, Lisa Raymond! |
